If there was a theme to weddings in the Newport area in 2023, it was that it was more than likely going to rain. And while few couples want rain on their wedding day, all of our lovely clients dealt with the inclement weather with beauty and grace. Taylor and Egan were no exception, and their colorful April Newport wedding at OceanCliff was a wonderful way to kick off our 2023 wedding season.
Taylor’s bouquet featured a soft pastel palette of greens, pinks, lavender, yellows and creams, with a hint of “something blue”.
For the couple’s first look and ceremony, we provided an indoor trellis that was covered in garden roses, ranunculus and hydrangea, a beautiful springtime frame for the celebration of their love.
After the ceremony, we repurposed the trellis for the reception, adding decorative globes and placing it behind the sweetheart table, which was adorned with even more florals and candles to complete the romantic setting.
The springtime theme continued throughout the reception space, with tall, draping centerpieces on matte gold stands as well as low, lush guest table arrangements.
And the sun came out in time for gorgeous sunset photos. Congratulations Taylor and Egan — we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
